What makes me proud about British Columbia is the many locations where you can find a clean and peaceful spot to enjoy the beautiful nature.You don’ have to travel that far from any city throughout the Province before you can find a park, river, lake or mountain that will provide a great place to relax and visit with friends and family.
A place that I love to visit is Sooke Potholes. Every time I go there I remember why I never want to leave Vancouver Island.

I know it has been a lot of work and I can’t wait to take that Sky Train expansion on my first trip to use the airport. This is going to truly make the city and region an even more livable place.

One of the best things about BC is Salt Spring Island. The artisan cheese, the local shops, creative environment, and easy-going attitude make this quiet part of the world the best things about BC.

Is there anything better than British Columbia wines? A trip to the Okanagan is always the perfect place and way to see why B.C. is the Best Place on Earth. Try a picnic with some cheese and meats and a nice Pinot at one of the wineries on The Naramata Bench.
