Birthplace of B.C. Spirit Square - Fort Langley
Vancouver Coast and Mountains

The B.C. Spirit Squares program was designed to assist all sorts of communities in all parts of the province to create or enhance gathering places, but it’s difficult to argue with the suggestion that the Birthplace of British Columbia Spirit Square at Fort Langley might just be the most suitable location of them all.
Created to celebrate the Township of Langley’s rich cultural heritage as the location where B.C. was founded in 1858, the square is a focal point for new waterfront redevelopment at Fort Langley - the largest in the community’s history.
The Spirit Square is a great addition to the redevelopment, which will add more residences to the community and will focus on green space and accessibility for the entire community.
